A great way to end the weekend, this was our Sunday lunch.
I posted a recipe for our tuna melt panini a week or so ago (you can find it here). But can we please talk about how much I love guacamole!
Guacamole
You Will Need:
2 Avocados, Mashed
1 Clove Garlic, Minced
1/2 Medium Red Onion
1 Jalapeno, Small Dice
2 Tbsp. Cilantro
1 Lime, Juiced (About 4 Tbsp.)
Kosher Salt, To Taste
Optional:
2 Plum Tomatoes, Seeded
1/2 Lb. Lump Crab Meat
Preparation:
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients. (I like to make it ahead of time so the flavors mix in with each other but remember AIR TIGHT or the avocado will turn) Serve with Tortilla Chips. For an individual serving, save the avocado halved skin and fill with some guacamole when ready to serve.
Helpful Hint: Leaving the avocado pit in the guacamole while the bowl is in the fridge or out at a party, will keep the dip from turning.
